Review:

Story:Vijay(Gopichand) who goes to kolkata to pursue his studies does some romance with Swetha(Anushka) and save another girl Divya(Poonam Kaur).The rest of the story is what is his purpose of coming to Kolakata and how he solves..................

Performances:

Gopichand:He gave his best effort and did a nice job in alla elements like comedy,emotions etc......This can be said as one of the film which he give his best in alla elements......

Anushka:She is good in the movie.She has a lot to do in first half but nothing in second.But over all she did a nice job.

Poonam Kaur:She is adequate and did a nice job as sister of Gopichand.

Others:Manoj K Jayan did a nice job as villain.Krishna Baghavan and Raghu Babu brought many laughs in the mouths of the people.Their comedy track is the best in the movie.Ali did as Sports H.O.D and as a six packer very well.

Technical Departments:

Direction:Siva a debut director did a nice job in direction but could have been much better in screeplay and narration.

Music:Music by Manisharma is good.He gave a good background score to the movie.

Others:Cinematography is good.Dialoges are good and stunts are very well done by Ram-Laxman.Editing is fine and Production values are good.

Final Word:First half of the film is good and the main story is revealed in second half.Interval twist is good.The main plus point of the film isGopichand and comedy and on the flip side screenplay in second half could have been much better.Violence in the film is excessive.Comedy track of Krishna Baghavan and Raghu babu is the best in film which is almost half of the second half of movie.Finally,the movie is targetted on B&C centres and can be seen for Gopichand and comedy.

IPL:Gilly named as captain for Deccan Chargers...

Adam Gilchrist is appointed as new captain for IPL franchisee Deccan Chargers owned by Deccan Chronicle News paper.Gilly V.V.S.Laxman whoo is now vice captain for the team.Former Australian Player Darren Lehaman is appointed as new coach replacing Robin Singh.So lets hope that atleast the new combination of the team would help them to win the 2nd edition of IPL........

Victory Venkatesh is all set to make a key role alongside Kamal Hassan in the latter's Rs. 120 crore budget film Marmayogi. The film is coming up in the own direction of Kamal. As said by Kamal himself in the past, Marmayogi is based on bio-periodic ethos dating back to 6 century AD.

Homam Review

I am not able to judge this film whether it is good or bad but definetly it is not the best and worst.It can be termed as an avg grosser.This movie is said to be as a remake(better to say freemake) of Hollywood blockbuster THE DEPARTED
PLOT: Chandu(J.D) is a police inspector who actually works for 'Daddy'(Mahesh Manjrekar), the head of the city's crime beat. Mallik(Jagapathi babu) is an undercover cop in Daddy's empire. Daddy's bane is the commissioner and Mallik's mentor, Vishwanath(Pradeep Ravath). When he busts Daddy's criminal deal the umpteenth time, Daddy in his rage tells him he has a stooge in the police team there. Vishwanath, not to be outdone, informs him he has an undercover cop in his team. Both Chandu and Mallik are in danger.
Performances:Jagapathi babu did a good job as an undercover cop J.D.Chakravarthy did well in negative role and alsoi suited well.Mamata Mohandas is good.
Technicians:Ever one is saying it is a freemake of The Departed as i didn't see it no nothing about that but it is an interesting plot but screenplay is not that good wich is to be good in such a kind movies.As J.D. is doing for the first time as a director he did well and need to be improve well.Music is the biggest draw back of teh film and also unnecessary.
Final Word:It is Just an OK film which can be seen once.J.D. can do well if he conc well on subject.
Tail Piece:The sequel of this film MARANA HOMAM is also coming soon into thestres in which hero Jagapathi Babu once again becomes undercover cop and goes to PAK to catch DAWOOD IBRAHIM......................

Symonds Only to play for IPL.

Due to the circumstaces of removing Andrew Symonds from the team touring Bangladesh due to Disciplanarty action the allrounder is trying to stop playing for the team and to go on with IPL.As a result the IPL franchisee DECCAN CHARGERS for whom Symonds is playing wants him to play in their team .Meanwhile IPL commisioner Lalith Modi said Australia cricket board that they can stop symonds from playing IPL for 2 years after his retirement...........

Kotha Bangaru Lokam Audio Released
