Krishna and Brahmanandam get Padma bhushan and Padma shri respectively.....

Superstar Krishna finally got his due recognition today. The central government announced Padma Bhushan award to Krishna for his contribution towards film industry .Krishna is the one who introduced latest technologies like first scope film, first color film, first 70 mm film to Telugu cinema industry. He also started western genres like cowboy and James bond in Telugu film industry.

After Allu Ramalingaiah, we have another Telugu comedian credited with the coveted title ‘Padma Sri’. It is none other than our own comedy king Brahmanandam who is having a field day by being one of the crowd pullers for many of recent hits like Dhee, Ready, Krishna and Jalsa. Brahmanandam got the rare distinction of entering Guinness book of world records as an actor with maximum number of films.
